Multiple City Traffic Widget No Longer Works

Postby Sarah on Thu Dec 06, 2007 2:58 pm

As you may have noticed, the Multiple City Traffic Widget no longer works.

Unfortunately, Traffic.com rearranged their server. My traffic widget didn't use "feeds"; I parsed several data files on their server and then used the information in those files in the widget. Sadly, those files no longer exist (the files have been moved or deleted) on Traffic.com's server, so the widget no longer shows the maps or incidents.

I'm not affiliated with Traffic.com, and am not sure if they will tell me where the files are now (if those files even still exist). I will try to fix it if I can, but I won't have time to look into it until this weekend.

I'm so irritated that this happened during the holiday season. If the widget can even be made to work again, I probably won't have time to do it until January 2008.
